Jennie Wengrovius is a soulful singer who transcends genres and has been captivating audiences since the age of five, when she started performing publicly as a soloist. By the time Jennie reached high school, she was performing in musical theatre productions throughout the Denver metro area, including a production of Godspell in honor of the victims of Columbine High School. In college Jennie performed and recorded in Santa Fe, NM and, later in Chicago, IL as both a solo artist performing original works and as the lead singer with various bands. After a stint in London, Jennie joined the popular Classic Rock band The Goods in New Jersey, with whom she performed until moving to the Boston metro area, where she currently resides. As an active member of her community, she now performs regularly at various festivals and community events, from the Fourth of July celebration to the Melrose Alliance Against Violence Candlelight Vigil. Jennie also continues to perform with multiple musicians throughout the area, and is known for her ability to hop on stage and sing live with musicians she has never worked with before; she relishes the joy of performing and working with all different kinds of collaborators.
